Valtira Relaunches Dasein.org

Valtira's founder George Reese has been releasing Open Source software under the Dasein name since 1996. When the Dasein.org server went down in 2004, George did not have any time to dedicate to setting it back up. Since then, George and Valtira has amassed a strong library of reusable components that should be shared with the developer community. The relaunch of Dasein.org is the centerpiece of this sharing.

The new Dasein.org will support all of the software formerly hosted under the Dasein name, including:

• The Dasein Persistence Library
• The Dasein Utility Library (including the tools formerly released under the name "Meme")
• Dasein Soul (aka mSQL-JDBC)
• The Dead Souls LPC Library

These software packages are all available to the development community under Open Source licenses.
